TheWebConnection
Terms and conditions
These concise terms apply to TheWebConnection hosting, domains, email, support, software, AI automation and telephony. Mandatory consumer rights always remain in force.
Last updated: 6 October 20261. Who we are and when these terms apply
TheWebConnection is operated by BQNT B.V., with correspondence address Laatstraat 15C, 2200 Noorderwijk, Belgium and VAT number BE1034765217. These terms apply to every quotation, order and agreement with TheWebConnection. A deviation only applies when confirmed by us in writing.
2. Offers, contracts and prices
An offer states the service, term, price and any third-party costs. A contract starts after our confirmation or when we begin performance following payment. Prices include VAT where expressly stated; a different statutory VAT treatment may apply to business customers. Obvious errors are not binding.
3. Delivery, hosting and domains
We deliver after receiving the required information and, unless agreed otherwise, payment. Dates are estimates unless expressly confirmed as binding. Domain registrations, transfers and number requests depend on availability, registries and suppliers. The customer provides accurate holder and contact details and remains responsible for rights to a chosen name.
Hosting is configured with the agreed capacity and security measures. Uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed; maintenance, internet incidents and external suppliers may affect availability.
4. Term, renewal and cancellation
The selected hosting term is 12 or 24 months and is paid in advance. TheWebConnection does not silently renew that fixed term for the same fixed period; a new offer may be made before expiry. Domains are managed per registration year and are renewed only when renewal is enabled, the details are correct and payment is received on time. Cancellation is available through My TheWebConnection or support, quoting the customer and domain details.
5. Use, security and content
The customer must use the services lawfully and not for spam, malware, deception, infringement or excessive load. The customer secures accounts, uses unique passwords, keeps its own applications updated and makes its own export or backup where appropriate. TheWebConnection may temporarily restrict or suspend a service for an urgent security risk, abuse, legal duty or payment arrears. Where reasonable, we give notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue.
6. Support, maintenance and changes
Support is supplied through the agreed channels and priorities. TheWebConnection may perform maintenance and replace technical components where functionality and security are reasonably preserved. Bespoke software, AI development and telephony follow the agreed scope; additional work and costs for licences, AI tools, tokens, providers or numbers are stated separately.
7. Payment
Activation and registration may depend on successful payment through Mollie or a payment manually approved by TheWebConnection. Invoices are due within the stated period. After a reasonable reminder, we may pause delivery, suspend a service or not perform an unpaid renewal. Manual approval applies only to the payment concerned.
8. Consumers and cancellation rights
A consumer may generally cancel an online service contract within 14 calendar days without giving a reason. If the consumer expressly asks us to start within that period, a proportionate amount may be due for services already supplied. A domain registration, number request or other irreversible action may start immediately after an express request; to the extent permitted by law, the cancellation right may then end. TheWebConnection explains this before performance. To cancel, email support@thewebconnection.eu with the order number.
9. Liability
We will remedy an attributable failure within a reasonable time after it is clearly reported. For business customers, liability for indirect loss, lost profit or lost data is excluded and direct liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service in the preceding six months. These limits do not apply to intent, gross fault, death or personal injury, or where mandatory law prohibits them. Consumers retain all statutory rights.
10. Force majeure and suppliers
TheWebConnection is not liable for delay caused by circumstances outside reasonable control, including large-scale internet or power failures, attacks, government measures and failures of registries, payment, cloud or telecoms suppliers. We limit the effects and resume service as soon as reasonably possible.
11. Privacy, confidentiality and data
We handle personal data under our privacy notice. For customer content hosted solely on the customer's behalf, TheWebConnection may act as processor; appropriate processing terms are available on request. Both parties keep non-public business information confidential.
12. Changes, law and disputes
Material changes are announced in advance where reasonably possible. The law designated by the applicable conflict rules applies; consumers never lose mandatory protection in their country of residence. The parties first try to resolve complaints through support. A dispute may then be submitted to the court having jurisdiction under mandatory law.
